Fat Burning Home Cardio Exercise

A better option in reducing body fats, than following the gym routines, are home exercises which are being used by many people. There are many different exercises that could be performed at home.


The best option available to burn the excess body fats is a workout. The cardio exercises, especially are useful in losing fats, since they help increase the body metabolism. Starving the body of food doesn't yield much, as the rate of metabolism slows down.

Walking

High intensity exercises might break the continuity due to exhaustion.


BOSU Ball

It is a device used for aerobic exercises. BOSU is an abbreviated form of Both Sides Utilized. The BOSU ball is an equipment that has two sections. An inflated ball forms the upper part of the device, while a rigid base provides stability to the device. The name 'Both Sides Utilized', indicates that the device can be used in many ways to perform aerobic exercises.


The different exercises that can be performed on a BOSU ball are as follows.


Squat Jumps: To perform this cardio exercise, one has to jump on the ball. Enough space between the legs should be maintained. He has to bend the knees and squat, as if, sitting in a chair. The jump should be as high as possible. At the time of resting the back on the ball, the knees should be brought back to the squatting position. The whole activity should be repeated 10 times.


Side Hops: The activity, as the name suggests, is about hopping sideways on the BOSU ball. One can start from any of the sides of the ball he wants. If he begins from the left side, the jump should be made with the help of the right leg. While jumping onto the ball with the right leg, he should bend the left knee. The body needs to be in an upright position while jumping. The jump should be repeated 16 times before changing the side.


Stretching


These exercises are easy to do and don't put much pressure on the body. They include crunches, push ups, etc. The purpose of fat burning, along with muscle toning is served by these exercises.


Swimming


This exercise provides complete exercise to the body. Swimming involves the movement of limbs and neck. It also exercises the joints in an efficient manner. Swimming helps in burning fats more than any other exercises.


Key Points to Remember


The duration of any exercise depends upon the capacity of a person. The trainers, however, recommend 30-60 minutes of daily exercise. Beginners should gradually increase the duration and the rate at which they exercise. It is necessary to undertake high intensity exercises in order to burn fats quickly. It helps in speedy metabolism and also helps maintain the balance of diet, with that of the fats lost. However, these exercises should not be done for more than 20 minutes.


It is not possible for everyone to allot time for outdoor exercises. Home exercises, help those who want to burn fats, however, are bound by time. Just like outdoor exercises, the home cardio exercises can bring about substantial decrease in amount of body fats.
