One major European study found that our adipose tissue is a storehouse for these environmental toxins. The Journal of Obesity reported on a study showing that losing too much fat in a short amount of time may be harmful as the trapped toxins are released into the bloodstream.

Our society is bombarded with more cancers and other degenerative diseases never before seen in our history. We have "modern" diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Alheimers and Autism. There is more heart disease in industrialized societies and more diabetes than ever before. Yet, "science" and "medicine" still claim to not really know why.

With all this going on in our environment, it is interesting that those who take action in an attempt to cleanse their bodies are considered the "crazy" people, or health "nuts." Those that try to educate others about the benefits of cleansing are considered snake oil peddlers. Doctors who do try to warn us of these facts are designated as quacks.
